


Jeremy Alan Hepp is a composer, singer-songwriter, recording artist, and landscape photographer currently living in the Seattle, WA area. He plays a wide variety of instruments including piano, synthesizer, acoustic and electric guitars, various stringed instruments, as well as some wind and percussion instruments. Jeremy has done many recordings throughout the years and has performed in various venues in the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and in different regions of the South, including Georgia and Florida. Jeremy's first solo piano album "From Our Towers" received radio airplay multiple times, and was sold in different stores across the country. As a recording artist, Jeremy Alan Hepp had his second solo piano album "No Dark Place, No Deep Shadow " produced by Michael Roe of the 77''s in Livermore, CA which was recorded by Brad Barth during January of 2000. Later as a performer , Jeremy was given the opportunity to open for Michael Roe on piano at the Canal Street Tavern in Dayton, Ohio, which was one of the nation's top acoustic listening rooms. Jeremy on occasion was chosen to perform his compositions and songs as a part of Canal Street Tavern's " Song Writers in the Round " and was a regular at it's Musician's Co Op for many years. During his time living in Oregon, Jeremy performed at a yearly Christian Art Conference in Eugene, which featured nationally known Windham Hill Records recording artist Jeff Johnson as well as folk singer Christopher Williams. Performing his music in the context of an open stage listening room setting, Jeremy Alan Hepp has performed for audiences at Eddie's Attic in Atlanta, Luna Star Cafe in Miami, Leo's Coffeehouse in Cincinnati , The Q Cafe in Seattle, and the Burkhart Underground in Chicago. Finally in a funny twist of fate, Jeremy was given a rare chance to be a last minute opener for legendary bluegrass group The Drybranch Firesquad at the Pony Wagon Days Festival in Jeremy's hometown of St. Paris , Ohio. After being well received by the audience who listened to him play his solo piano compositions, he proved that even hardcore bluegrass fans could be receptive, appreciate, and enjoy a different genre of music.
As a devoted landscape photographer, Jeremy Alan Hepp frequently takes photography of moss covered forests, delicate flowing waterfalls, vibrant spring flowers, jagged mountain peaks, rocky coastlines and autumn foliage scenes in October. He is also known to capture images of palm trees and sandy beaches, nostalgic lighthouses, nautical settings, covered bridges, as well as various forms of historic and modern architecture . Jeremy has taken beautiful photography in many states including Ohio, Florida, West Virginia, TN, South Dakota, Wyoming, Georgia, Oregon and Washington State . Currently, Jeremy's camera of choice is a Sony Alpha a58 DSLR with a 18 -55 mm Sony lens, and a Tameron 75 - 300 mm macro- telephoto lens. He use's a Moose's Warm - CPL filter to achieve a deep rich natural effect , as well as a Tiffen HyperStar filter for dazzling night and city shots. Very few of Jeremy's photos are ever enhanced with digital software, and the majority of his images are presented as they were taken in camera without outside software alteration. Overall, as a photographer, Jeremy Alan Hepp is primarily known for his landscape photos of the Pacific Northwest and continues to search out new places to capture through the medium of digital photography.
